Tomorrow, March 20th, my daughter turns thirteen years old. Noise and crowds are stressful for her, so she’s chosen not to have a birthday party. Instead she’s just going out to dinner with me, her single mom.
This past year we moved far away from our extended family, so I’d like to ask for your help in making her first day as a teenager a memorable one. Last year, she was so happy when Marvel RPers wrote her in character. She answered as many as she could, then I posted everything in my queue so all of my followers will see how kind our community is to a child. I’ll do the same if you’ll send her birthday wishes again! She’ll love any notes but her favorites I’ve listed below:
Her top fandom is Warrior Cats, of which I know very little, but her favorite character is Jayfeather.
Tony Stark is her favorite superhero. Period. Always. BUT. Other Marvel superheroes close to her heart are: Hank Pym (who she knows from EMH), Spiderman, Black Widow, Janet van Dyne, and Hawkeye (both Kate and Clint).
She also loves Avatar: TLA. Her favorite characters are Sokka (she MAY have a crush on Sokka but YOU DIDN’T HEAR IT FROM ME), Toph, and Tenzin.
My darling girl has a slight auditory processing disorder so your written words will mean so much more to her than any songs from classmates. Thank you in advance for anyone who sends anything to her!
